Introduction
This program ‘Learn the basics of Jyotish (Vaidic Astrology)' talks about the practical aspects & applications of Jyotish sutras and takes one, step-by-step, to learn more about Jyotish Shastra.
It begins with the basic philosophy about Jyotish, what should one expect from Jyotish Shastra, and how a beginner in Jyotish Shastra should start learning it. Alongside learning Jyotish Shastra, what all values one has to develop within himself to be a good tool of nature to help mankind.
This e-learning program emphasizes on building a good foundation for learning Jyotish Shastra. It talks about the five elements and their connection with time and explains in detail how these impact our life.
It also helps one to develop a deeper understanding of nine planets and to see these planets as not some rocky bodies moving in the sky but as celestial bodies.
Further it takes the student on the practical applicability of these basics concepts. One can expect a strong foundation of basics and application of Intermediate Jyotish concepts from this program.
About the course
"Learn the basics of Jyotish" is an e-learning program spanned over 90 hours of teaching . The program is designed for basic to intermediate learning of Jyotish principles.
Starting from answering very basic questions on philosophy of Jyotish, Karmas, Destiny, and technical understanding of certain astronomical phenomena, the program touches upon the puranic understanding of Navagraha energies and their impact. A special elaborate module is dedicated only for deeper understanding of Navagrahas and Rasis as they form the real foundation for future learning.
Apart from basic elemental understanding of various concepts the program has dedicated modules on applications of these concepts as well, which includes timing of events, divisional chart analysis, steps on how to analyse a chart, making right choices and helping people make right choices using this knowledge.
This is an e-learning program, and modules are exhaustive enough to learn from scratch, however the regular and rigorous practice of these concepts are advised by our Jyotish instructors to keep the learning curve smooth and steady.
The 19-module program is divided into two levels: Level 1 (1-9 modules) and Level 2 (10-19 modules). Level 1 costs Rs 14,999 and Level 2 costs Rs 14,999. The entire package totals Rs 25,000 INR. Although it is highly recommended to complete both Level 1 & Level 2 by signing up for the entire package, students also have the flexibility to sign up for any one Level.
